I was enjoying a movie and started thinking about how flawless the movie was put together. It’s intended for the viewers, not to see what goes on behind the scene. Yes, mistakes are blotted out, some things are repeated several times until they get it right & some days are more difficult than other days.
WOW!! That’s what we experience everyday even though we are not considered a movie stars. I’m so thankful we have something far GREATER….An Awesome God who blots out our sins, He has given us another chance to get it right, and promised us He would never leave us nor forsake us not matter how difficult our days may be.
Umm! With that said, I am a movie star in the eyes of the Lord!!!
My mistake was not that I cursed someone out….because I do not curse.
My mistake was not fighting….because I have learned how to turn the other cheek.
I did not steal from anyone, kill anyone, nor did I try to destroy anyone. What I did was help someone. The mistake wasn’t that I helped this individual but my outlook in helping them.
One of the biggest problems a Christian faces is working with and around evil people. Evil people pull you down, always find fault in what you do, talk about your behind your back, lie on you to make themselves look good, etc. Yet, as a Christian we need to remember what God’s Word says. In 1 Corinthians 15:58 states “Therefore, my brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” In Galatians 6:9 the Word reads “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
The enemy has a problem…..and the problem is YOU (Christian)! You are not a mistake because you are a Child of GOD…do what we are called to do and show the love of our Father to the world!
It did happen.
No longer could she deny it and no longer could she try to ignore it, it happened.
She was strong-willed and as confident with any individual. She was among her peers a go-getter and pushed through all obstacles to get the job done. She had such tenacity with life that nothing was going to hold her down. Then it happened and she could no longer hold her head up with the confidence she once had.
His acts of violence took the spunk out that she had for life.
In time her healing took place and she realized that the evil he did would show he degraded himself and not her.
Time is our friend. Time heals and with time comes understanding.
In Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 speaks of time and with everything a season. With God He turns the things of darkness to light. Read Psalm 30:11-12 and praise Him!
